Aura Engineering completed the process, mechanical, electrical, civil, and structural engineering design of a 1.5 million bbl expansion at the Seabrook Terminal facility located along the Houston Ship Channel. This facility expansion consisted of ten (10) new above ground internal floating roof storage tanks and was designed with a redundant pump manifold capable of flow rates up to 30,000 barrels per hour (bph). The pumps are 4,160 volt, vertical can-style pumps operated on VFDs. The facility is designed to accept inbound movements from ships and also send outbound movements via pipeline. Aura Engineering provided the vapor control system design which is in compliance with the US Coast Guard regulations for loading marine vessels.
